BPC 2007 : Harrogate

The Higgins Group will be exhibiting, once again, at the major UK potato event of 2007.



Organised by the British Potato Council, the exhibition will be held in Harrogate on 28th and 29th November. Higgins has a long association with this autumn event having sponsored and organised the field work a number of times when it was a working harvester demonstration.



This year the Higgins� stand can be found in Hall 2. Many staff will be on hand over the two days to meet new and existing growers, suppliers and customers. In addition representatives of Heinz and also a German seed partner will be on hand to directly meet and discuss issues pertinent to their businesses.



As Managing Director, David Higgins explains, �BPC events are always well attended by the potato industry. The measure of success is quality not quantity of visitors. No doubt one of the main topics of conversation will be 2008 planting intentions in the light of another poor growing season, and competition from alternative grain and bio-fuel crops. We will have some exciting options to entice growers with.�
